Family Freedom Center hosting first “Hillside Holiday Market”

DULUTH, Minn. — Family Freedom Center is welcoming in the Twin Ports community for its first Hillside Holiday Market.

The market will be featuring over 30 different area vendors, as well as items designed and made by some of the children who are a part of the freedom center and their S.T.A.R.T program.

The event is designed as a by-the-community, for-the-community afternoon for people looking to get some last-minute holiday shopping done in a way that keeps dollars local.

“For one, let’s face it, the best part of getting together is food, so we’re going to bring a nice little meal for your belly,” said S.T.A.R.T’s director Stefon Witherspoon. “We’re going to bring the fellowship, and we will bring the products and the inventory for the whole community to come together to have a blast of a time.”

The afternoon of shopping and community is scheduled for noon to 7:00 p.m. on Dec. 17. at Family Freedom Center in Duluth.
