Portman Hockey’s 4th annual “Great Skate” postponed

DULUTH, Minn. — Messy weather has forced Portman Hockey to postpone their annual “Great Skate” fundraiser.

The event typically signals the “official start” of Portman’s outdoor hockey season.

The “Great Skate” fundraiser has consistently been a family-friendly, community-favorite event with food, games, and activities for all ages.

Money raised goes toward the organization’s equipment, programs and rink improvements.
