Residents at Ecumen Lakeshore meet and greet with Santa Claus
DULUTH, Minn.– Santa made a special early visit in Duluth today to cap off a month full of holiday celebrations.
The residents at Ecumen Lakeshore were clearly on the nice list, because Santa came prepared with treats and a chance to meet and greet.
But before that, the month has been filled with laughter, sing-alongs, and musical performances.
Staff said the enthusiasm is infectious, and it’s been wonderful to keep spirits up.
“In our office, we were laughing hysterically last week, and every day we’ve been dressed up as different themes, and it brings fun to everybody that lives here. Our community is huge, and so we like to bring that Christmas spirit,” said Toni Hubbell.
Ecumen staff said it can be difficult for family members to visit their loved ones around the holidays.
And they’re glad to provide a sense of positivity and nostalgia for their residents.
