Prep Basketball: Cherry & Esko Boys Bounce Back, Hermantown Girls Go Unbeaten at Wood City Classic

All local holiday basketball tournaments wrapped up on Tuesday.

SUPERIOR, Wis.- Both the Cherry and Esko boys basketball teams returned to the win column on Tuesday afternoon.

The Tigers were able to get the best of Moose Lake/Willow River, 95 to 65 at the Superior Candy Cane Crossover.

As for Esko, they took down Hermantown 84 to 66 at the UMD Winter Classic.

In girls action, Hermantown finished unbeaten at the Wood City Classic in Cloquet.

The Hawks defeated Cromwell-Wright 79 to 47.
