Max Plante to Miss Team USA’s Quarterfinal Contest vs. Finland

The Hermantown native originally suffered an undisclosed injury in the 2nd period of Monday's game against Slovakia.

ST. PAUL, Minn.- Current UMD forward Max Plante is set to miss Team USA’s upcoming quarterfinal game against Finland.

At Thursday’s practice, U.S. head coach Bob Motzko said Plante will not suit up on Friday.

The Hermantown native originally suffered an undisclosed injury in the 2nd period of Monday’s game against Slovakia.

Puck drop against Finland is at 5 PM.
