UMD’s Grace Sadura Nominated for 2026 Hockey Humanitarian Award

Sadura is involved with a number of programs including DEI Council and the Green Bandana project.

DULUTH, Minn.- We know that UMD forward Grace Sadura can make plays on the ice. But on Tuesday, she was recognized for some of the things she does off the ice.

Sadura was one of the 12 players nominated for the 2026 Hockey Humanitarian Award.

The award is given to a student-athlete, who makes significant contributions not only to his or her team but also to the community-at-large through leadership in volunteerism.

Sadura is involved with a number of programs including DEI Council and the Green Bandana project.

Finalists will be announced in February.
