Plans for a new hotel in Superior

Construction is underway for a new Hampton Inn in Superior.

The hotel will stand four stories tall and have 83 rooms. It is expected to cost about $8 million to build

Officials think it will help growth of the Superior area.

 “We think it is going to be really good for Superior for tax revenue and job creation. We are excited to do it,” said Jim Toninato, Vice President of Construction.

The hotel is expected to open in April 2017.
