UMD Women’s Basketball Stays Perfect at Home, Men Snap Four-Game Losing Streak

Both teams are back in action on Saturday, January 24th, against Concordia-St. Paul. 

DULUTH, Minn.- On Friday night, both the UMD men’s and women’s basketball teams earned conference wins against Winona State.

The women’s squad took down the Warriors 59-55 to improve to 14-3 on the year.

Leading the charge for the Bulldogs was Myra Moorjani with 18 points.

For the men’s team, they secured a 71-50 win over Winona State, snapping a four-game losing streak.

The top scorer for UMD was Kole Hanson with 16 points.

Both teams are back in action on Saturday, January 24th, against Concordia-St. Paul.
