#7 UMD Men’s Hockey Nearly Completes Comeback Against #3 Western Michigan

DULUTH, Minn.- For the 2nd straight week, the UMD men’s hockey team has lost the first game of a series.

Something that didn’t happen in the first half of the season.

Welcoming in the defending national champions, UMD had a late rally against Western Michigan in the 3rd, but it wouldn’t be enough as they fall 4-3.

Ty Hanson, Jayson Shaugabay, and Callum Arnott were the goal-scorers for UMD.

The two teams will meet again on Saturday to close out the series. Puck drop is at 6:07 PM.
