“No NDA’s in the DFL” meeting at Zeitgeist
DULUTH, Minn. — The topic of non-disclosure agreements took center stage at a public meeting at Zeitgeist.
Elected officials and community members alike gathered to discuss NDA’s ahead of an upcoming caucus.
The focus was on how NDA’s have been used by officials, but an update was also provided on the Hermantown data center.
Small groups broke out for discussions on developing resolutions and action items aimed at banning DFL candidates from signing NDA’s moving forward.
“Our elected officials are beholden to the community that is our bosses. And so where we’re organizing and saying, If elected officials are going to sign these non disclosure agreements, that then they really risk being voted out of office,” said Ashley Grimm, 3rd District, St. Louis County Commissioner.
The meeting was hosted by Commissioner Ashley Grimm, Senator Jen McEwen, Representative Liish Kozlowski, and City Councilor Wendy Durrwachter.
The next precinct caucus will be held on February 3.
