College Hockey: CSS Women Bounce Back Against St. Mary’s, UWS Men Skate to a 2-2 Tie with Eau Claire

DULUTH, Minn.- The St. Scholastica women’s hockey team was back at home on Friday night, taking on St. Mary’s.
After former Mirage forward Reese Heitzman scored the opening goal for the Cardinals, the Saints found three unanswered goals to secure a 3-1 win.
Leading the way for the Saints was Alaina Hedberg with two goals.
CSS will close out their series with St. Mary’s on Saturday, January 31st.
Puck drop is at 2 p.m.
Over in Wisconsin, the UWS men’s hockey team faced off against Eau Claire.
UWS and the Eau Claire exchanged goals all night, skating to a 2-2 tie.
The Blugolds earned the extra point in the shootout.
UWS and Eau Claire will continue their series on Saturday, January 31st.
Game time is at 7 p.m.
