Northwestern Boys Basketball Tops Cameron in Conference Showdown, Superior Girls Upset Tigers

The Tiger boys are now 8-1 in conference play.

MAPLE, Wis.- The Northwestern boys basketball team moved to the top of the Heart O’North standings on Tuesday night.

Playing Cameron on their home floor, the Tigers were able to secure a 60-54 victory over the Comets.

Northwestern will next play at Cumberland on Thursday.

In girls action, Superior upset Northwestern, 45 to 32.

The Spartans improve to 5-13 and will play at Hibbing on Friday.

As for the Tigers (10-6), they are at Barron on Thursday.
