Duluth East Boys & Girls Place in Top 4 for Nordic Ski Team Sprint at State

The Greyhound girls placed 3rd and the Greyhounds boys placed 4th.

BIWABIK, Minn.- The state ski meet continued in Biwabik on Wednesday with the Nordic Ski team sprint.

On the girls side, the Duluth East duo of Freya Capps and Kenna Huot places 3rd after finishing with a time of 14:31:64.

They had a total of 153 points.

Then on the boys side, Duluth East is 4th. Max Fisher and Benjamin Pilate had a time of 12:30:09.

Other notable local finishers include the Cloquet-Esko-Carlton boys finishing 10th and the Ely girls placing 11th.

The state tournament wraps up Thursday with classic pursuit.
