Board of Regents Approves Contract Extension for UMD Director of Athletics Forrest Karr
Karr has served as the Bulldogs Director of Athletics since August of 2022.
DULUTH, Minn.- UMD Director of Athletics Forrest Karr has received a new contract extension.
On Thursday, The University of Minnesota Board of Regents approved the extension that goes through June of 2032.
Karr has served as the Bulldogs Director of Athletics since August of 2022.
During his tenure, 11 of the 16 varsity programs have participated in NCAA postseason competition.
He’s also implemented a new strategic plan and also started the annual UMD Athletics Week of Giving.
