UMD Women’s Hockey Stays at #10 in USCHO Poll, Gascon Named WCHA Goaltender of the Week

Gascon had 57 saves and two shutouts this weekend.

DULUTH, Minn.- After a successful sweep against St. Thomas, which included two back-to-back shutouts this past weekend.

The UMD women’s hockeyteam still remains ranked 10th in the latest USCHO poll.

The Bulldogs were led by Eve Gascon, who picked up WCHA Goaltender of the Week honors for her 57 saves and two shutouts in net. She now has a total of eight on the season.

UMD will close out the regular season this upcoming weekend by making the short trip to Minneapolis to face the 3rd ranked Golden Gophers.
