Section 7AA Boys Hockey: Duluth East Among Teams to Advance to Semifinals

All Section 7AA semifinal games are on Saturday, February 21st at Amsoil Arena.

DULUTH, Minn.- The Duluth East boys hockey team faced off against their crosstown rivals in Duluth Denfeld in the 7AA quarterfinal round on Tuesday.

The Greyhounds punched their ticket to the semifinal round, after taking down the Hunters 8-2.

Duluth East will face Rock Ridge in the semifinal round, after they beat Cambridge-Isanti 7-1.

The Greyhounds and the Wolverines will square off at Amsoil Arena on Saturday, February 21st, at 2 p.m.

On the other side of the bracket, the top seeded Grand Rapids Thunderhawks defeated Northern Edge 11-0.

The Thunderhawks will face Forest Lake after they took down Duluth Marshall 5-2.

Grand Rapids and Forest Lake’s semifinal matchup is on Saturday, February 21st.
