New look for new Air Force One aircraft

(CNN) – Air Force One will soon look a little different.

An Air Force official says the new planes that will serve as Air Force One will be sporting President Trump’s preferred colors.

They will be painted red, white, gold and dark blue.  The planes which serve as Air Force One have been painted baby blue and white for more than 60 years.

The new color scheme was proposed during President Trump’s first term.  But the Biden Administration rejected it – citing cost and technical reasons.

The Air Force says the paint scheme will be applied to the new presidential fleet – including the 747 donated to the military by Qatar.
