Section 7AA Boys Hockey: Grand Rapids Blanks Forest Lake, Rock Ridge Knocks off Duluth East in Double Overtime

Grand Rapids will face off against Rock Ridge in the Section 7AA title game.

DULUTH, Minn.- The Section 7AA boys hockey playoffs continued on Saturday at Amsoil Arena.

In the first semifinal game, the Grand Rapids Thunderhawks shut out Forest Lake 5-0 to advance to the 7AA championship game.

The Thunderhawks will face Rock Ridge in the title game, who defeated Duluth East 5-4 in double overtime.

The winner of the Section 7AA title game will advance to the State tournament.

Puck drop for the 7AA championship game is on Thursday, February 26th, at 7 p.m.
