Makenzie Cole Becomes All-Time Saves Leader at CSS, Also Named MIAC Defender of the Week

DULUTH, Minn.- Former Grand Rapids/Greenway goaltender and current St. Scholastica goaltender Makenzie Cole ended her Saints career by achieving history.

Cole became the all-time saves leader in Scholastica’s weekend series against St. Catherine.

She finished with 2,316 stops, which broke the record of 2,227 saves, which was set by former Saints standout Lexi Thomaczek.

Cole, who was named MIAC Defensive Player of the Week, and the Saints finished the year with a 11-12-2 record.
