St. Scholastica Track & Field Prepping for MIAC Indoor Championships

The MIAC Indoor Championships take place at Carleton College on Friday & Saturday.

DULUTH, Minn.- Like a number of winter sports, the Indoor Track and Field season is officially winding down.

This upcoming weekend, St. Scholastica is set to compete at the MIAC Indoor Championships at Carleton College.

Saints associate head coach Jeff Cottrell says less is more at this point and the work they put in during the off-season and the previous meets will carry them to hopefully a conference title this upcoming weekend.

“There’s not a whole lot to be done to improve. You could do a lot to make yourself worse off at this point in the game. But it’s really just about making sure kind of our top end, our explosive gears are there and ready, but not touching them too often at this point of the year,” said Cottrell.
