Former Vikings General Manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah gets new job

SAN FRANCISCO – Matt Barrows, who covers the San Francisco 49ers for The Athletic, says Kwesi Adofo-Mensah is returning to the 49ers.
Barrows posted on X, “49ers are welcoming back ex-Vikings GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah as a personnel executive, Lynch said.”
Lynch refers to 49ers General Manager John Lynch.
Adofo-Mensah worked for the 49ers from 2013 through 2019.
He had roles within the football research and development department in his time with the 49ers.
ESPN Reporter Nick Wagoner is reporting Adofo-Mensah “is back in the fold,” but his official title with the 49ers will be determined after the upcoming 2026 NFL Draft.
