Outdoor researchers gather for collaboration and conservation meeting
DULUTH, Minn.– A large group of outdoor enthusiasts are meeting to discuss research and projects with conservation.
The Minnesota chapters of American foresters, fisheries, and wildlife societies are joining forces for their largest meeting of the year.
This year’s event has a focus on research, and efforts with conservation.
One of the attendees said, advocating for the future is powerful.
“We’re all very passionate about our individual professions, but we’re all passionate about preservation and conservation as well, so making sure that we are utilizing those resources in a sustainable manner, so that the next generation can use them,” said Ashlee Lehner, Minnesota Society of American Foresters Chair.
The meeting also highlighted student researchers to present projects they have been involved with as well.
