Strong winds coming through Northland knocking out power

DULUTH, Minn. – The strong winds coming thought the Northland in the afternoon of February 27, 2026 are knocking out power.

Minnesota Power was reporting nearly 2000 customers without power with a majority of those outages in Duluth, Cloquet and Moose Lake along with Eveleth and the Chisholm-area.

Lake Country Power is reporting more than 1200 customers without power from just North of Duluth to the Crane Lake-area.
