#9 UMD Women’s Hockey Blanks #14 MSU-Mankato in Opening Game of WCHA Playoffs

In the Bulldogs shutout win, goaltender Eve Gascon gloved 23 saves against MSU-Mankato. 

DULUTH, Minn.- On Friday, the UMD women’s hockey team hosted MSU-Mankato in the first round of the WCHA playoffs.

UMD extends its win streak against the Mavericks to 18, after a 2-0 victory.

In the Bulldogs shutout win, goaltender Eve Gascon made 23 saves against MSU-Mankato.

Game two between the Bulldogs and the Mavericks is on Saturday, February 28th.
