UMD Men’s Hockey’s Rally Falls Short in Loss to Colorado College

Scout Truman scored the lone goal for the Bulldogs.

DULUTH, Minn.- The 9th ranked UMD men’s hockey team opened up their final regular season series on Friday against Colorado College.

The Bulldogs entered the final period trailing 1-0. That’s where Scout Truman gave the team a boost with the game-tying goal at the 11:41 mark.

However, 15 seconds later Colorado College responded with a goal by Bret Link to take a 2-1 lead.

The Tigers then added two empty netters to go on to win 4-1.

UMD will look for the series split on Saturday with puck drop at 6:07 PM.
