#14 MSU-Mankato Knocks #9 UMD Women’s Hockey Out of WCHA Playoffs
The Bulldogs will now need an at-large bid for the NCAA tournament.
DULUTH, Minn.- The UMD women’s hockey team clashed with MSU-Mankato in game three of their first-round series of the WCHA playoffs.
The Mavericks pulled off the series upset, taking down the Bulldogs 2-1 to eliminate UMD out of the WCHA playoffs.
UMD will now need an at-large bid for the NCAA tournament.
The NCAA selection show is set for Sunday, March 8th.
