#9 UMD Men’s Hockey Closes Out Regular Season with Tie Against Colorado College

UMD did win the shootout to earn the extra point in the NCHC standings. 

DULUTH, Minn.- The UMD men’s hockey team closed out the regular season on Saturday, taking on Colorado College.

After trailing 2-0 in the third period, the Bulldogs scored two goals to force overtime.

Neither team could find the back of the net in OT, as UMD and Colorado College settled for the 2-2 tie.

UMD did win the shootout to earn the extra point in the NCHC standings.

The Bulldogs now await their seeding for the NCHC playoffs.
