UWS Women’s Basketball Grabs UMAC Title, Taking Down North Central

The Yellowjackets have earned an automatic bid for the NCAA tournament. 

SUPERIOR, Wis.- The UWS women’s basketball team tipped off against North Central in the UMAC championship game on Saturday night.

The Yellowjackets defended their home floor, taking down the Rams 78-51 to secure the 2026 UMAC title.

Leading the way for UWS was Maddie Reott with 23 points.

The Yellowjackets have earned an automatic bid for the NCAA tournament.

UWS will learn who they will face in the NCAA tournament on Monday, March 2nd, at 1:30 p.m.
