Zam Plante’s OT Goal Gives UMD Game One Win Over SCSU in NCHC Quarterfinals

UMD will aim for the series victory on Saturday.

DULUTH, Minn.- The UMD men’s hockey team celebrated their first home playoff game since 2019 in style on Friday.

Tied at 3 in overtime, Zam Plante called game to give UMD the 4-3 game one victory over St. Cloud State.

Zam also had two goals total in the game to lead the Bulldogs offensively.

UMD will aim for the series victory on Saturday. Puck drop is at 6:07 PM.
