Potholes still a problem in Duluth
Even though there has been 30 inches less snowfall this year, Duluth Maintenance Operations struggles to come up with enough money to fix potholes.
Maintenance Operations has had 45 snow events that they have had to plow.
Last year they had only 25 events they had to plow, so even though there has been less snowfall, crews have been very busy.
“Even though we are low on snow totals we have been out there a lot,” said Kelly Fleissner, Manager of Maintenance Operations for the City of Duluth.
The company hopes to have enough money to fix the potholes around Duluth by mid-May.
