Heroin Bust Leads to Six Arrests in Duluth
Search warrant executed on Feb. 2
DULUTH, Minn. – Just before 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 2, investigators from the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force executed a search warrant at an apartment in the 2800 block of West 3rd Street.
The search warrant came after an investigation into the suspected sale of controlled substances, specifically heroin, by the people living at that address.
During the search, investigators recovered approximately 51 grams of heroin, fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, digital scales, drug packaging, and $5,554 U.S. currency.
Investigators arrested six individuals at the residence, all are currently being held at the St. Louis County Jail.
On Monday, February 6, the St. Louis County Attorney’s Office formally charged 33-year-old Ricky Antoinne Osborne, and 21-year-old Matthew Robert Bloxton, both of Chicago, with 1st Degree Sale of a Controlled Substance. Bloxton’s bail was set at $75,000 and Osborne is being held without bail on a hold from the Minnesota Department of Corrections.
Osborne has previous convictions in Minnesota for 2nd Degree Sale of a Controlled Substance, 2nd Degree Assault, and 3rd Degree Sale of a Controlled Substance. At the time of his arrest, he was on supervised release from Olmsted County.
In addition, 39-year-old Jillian Marie Graves, of Superior, was formally charged with 5th Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance; 22-year-old Willie Davis Nicholson, of Duluth, was arrested for two outstanding misdemeanor arrest warrants from St. Louis County; 31-year-old Adam Daniel Reilly, of Duluth, was arrested for an outstanding felony arrest warrant from St. Louis County; and a 30-year-old male form Duluth is still being held in St. Louis County Jail Pending formal charges from the St. Louis County Attorney’s Office.
