Proctor Set to Vote on New Sports Facility
Cost Could Reach $12 million
PROCTOR, Minn.-Tonight Proctor residents are voting on whether to pay for a new hockey arena and multi-functional turf field.
The facility would cost about $12 million.
School officials have said their current facility is about 45-years-old and outlived its lifespan.
If voted in, property taxes would pay for the facility. The amount taxes would go up are dependent on a home’s value.
For example, someone who owns a $150,000 home would pay an extra $47 a year.
