Public Meeting Set to Discuss Improvements at Kenwood Ave. and Arrowhead
The public is invited to an informational meeting to discuss improvements at the Kenwood Avenue and Arrowhead intersection.
The meeting will be held at Kenwood Lutheran Church at 2720 Myers Avenue, on Tuesday, March 15 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
The project includes a replacement traffic signal at the intersection of Arrowhead Road/Kenwood Avenue/Howard Gnesen Road and a new traffic signal at the at the intersection of Kenwood Aveune and Cleveland Street.
The work at Arrowhead/Kenwood/Howard Gnesen will include pedestrian, traffic signal and turn lane improvements, along with modifications to the U.S./Wells Fargo Bank driveways.
The goals of the improvements are to provide efficient and safe operations for both vehicles and pedestrians by reducing congestion and improving traffic flow, along with improving access to surrounding businesses.
