Superior Man Sentenced for Role in Hermantown Drive-by Shooting

DULUTH, Minn.- A Superior man was sentenced today to 7 1/2 years in prison for his role in a September drive-by shooting in Hermantown.

Denzel Perrin, 20, had previously pleaded guilty to three counts of felony drive-by shooting. One person was shot in the incident and left with non-life threatening injuries.

Another suspect in the case, 47-year-old Robert Lund, is expected to go to trial this week.

He’s facing nine felony charges in relation to the incident including four counts each of second–degree attempted murder and felony drive–by shooting. He’s also been charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm.
