Local Business Receives $20,000 Grant
Canal Bark Will Use Grant Money for Marketing Campaign
DULUTH, Minn. – A local business got a $20,000 grant today.
Canal Bark–a one-stop pet facility that boards dogs and cats, offers dog day care, pet grooming, and training classes–was selected to receive the grant from Giant Voices.
Canal Bark will use the money to improve their marketing efforts.
“We have expertise with dogs and maybe some of the business side, but the marketing side’s not our expertise, and so this is going to make all the difference for us to try to move forward and be professional and continue with our brand recognition,” says Canal Bark owner Andrea Schokker.
Canal Bark may be looking to expand to other communities in Minnesota.
