‘The Haitian Temptation’ is Heading Overseas

Al Sands will travel to Germany March 11 for his first international fight

DULUTH, MINN.- On March 11 ‘The Haitian Temptation’ Al Sands will fight Ukrainian fighter Roman Golovashchenko for the IBO Intercontinental Championship in Rancbach-Baumbach, Germany.

Golovashchenko is 17 and 1, while Sands will be going for his 20 win, a milestone that he’s been working for a long time.

“It is surreal I just had my ten year anniversary since the day I first walked into the gym and it’s great to see how things have progressed and where things are going,” said Sands.

This will be Sands first international fight, his team will leave March 8 for Germany.
