Apple Valley Police Searching for Missing Man

The Apple Valley Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing man. 

55-year-old Steven Allen Edlund was last seen around 12:30 in the afternoon on February 23 off Cedar Avenue near Cub Foods in Apple Valley. He has not been seen or heard from since. 

Authorities say Edlund is on foot and likely confused and lost.  He has health issues that require regular medication and police are concerned for his welfare. 

Edlund is described as being 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 200 pounds with sandy blonde hair and green eyes. 

He was last seen wearing dark wash jeans, a t-shirt with a longer tan/beige jacket, tennis shoes and a green Minnesota Wild stocking hat.  Steve was not wearing his glasses at the time. 

Police are asking homeowners to check their property for someone who may have gotten lost or sought shelter. 

Authorities do not suspect foul play in his disappearance.
