Bald Eagles Migrating Earlier

Warm Weather Big Factor

DULUTH, Minn.-In other environmental news, bald eagles are migrating back to Minnesota a few weeks ahead of schedule.

The early migration, comes after February melted much of the snow, while ice is breaking up along the rivers. Small groups of eagles have already been seen along the Minnesota River.

Only two states have larger populations of eagles – Florida and Alaska.
