Duluth Women’s Expo Takes Over the DECC Saturday

More than 100 vendors will be on hand this year

DULUTH, Minn. – Women take over the DECC tomorrow. The 9th annual Duluth Women’s Expo starts tomorrow morning at 9 a.m.

More than 100 vendors will be on hand this year. A new feature is the “Women Rock” VIP section to benefit the Saint Lukes Foundation’s fight against breast cancer. Organizers say it’s a day for the ladies.

“They come with their friends, their sisters, their kids,” said Tracy Lundeen, producer of the Duluth Women’s Expo. “Women make 70 percent of the decisions in the work place and at home…so why not have an expo for women.”

A fashion show and gardening demos are also planned for the event.
