Woman, Infant Ejected from Car in Rollover on Highway 53

A woman and an infant were ejected from a car in a rollover accident on Highway 53 on Monday. 

The Minnesota State Patrol responded to the crash around 4:10 Monday night. 

Police say the driver, 28-year-old Cordaro Houle, of White Bear Lake, admitted to falling asleep at the wheel.  

The car rolled into the median and a 23-year-old woman, who was the passenger, and a baby were ejected from the vehicle.

According to the State Patrol, the three were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. 

All three were taken to Essentia Health St. Mary’s and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
