Mayor Larson Talks with Citizens in Their Neighborhood
The Mayor and Other City Officials Met With Duluthians at St. Scholastica
DULUTH, Minn. – Duluth Mayor Emily Larson spoke with citizens at the College of Saint Scholastica.
The event was part of the City Hall in the City program where Mayor Larson and other city officials travel to each council district every year to talk with residents on their own turf.
The mayor says these discussions are key to learning what issues are important in every Duluth neighborhood.
“What’s fun is that it’s always an out of the box, creative evening,” says Mayor Larson. “People are very honest. They have a lot of important things to say and it’s actually, it’s always been a very energizing night.”
The City Hall in the City program will continue next month with an April 19th listening session at the American Indian Community Housing Organization.
