PetSmart Opens in Duluth

New Store Will Have Grand Opening on Saturday from 9 a.m. Until 9 p.m.

DULUTH, Minn. – PetSmart is now open in Duluth at the Village Mall near Hobby Lobby and Savers.

Store managers say PetSmart has had its eyes on the Northland for years and they finally decided to open a store when their new location became available.

They think Duluth has been an under represented area for pet stores and hope PetSmart can become a one stop shop for local animal lovers.

“We’ll groom your dog, we’ll groom your cat,” says PetSmart District Manager Dean Hendrickson. “We have a self dog wash too. If you’ve been down to the lake and maybe your dog smells, you want to bring him in, we have a self dog wash for $10. You can use everything we use in the salon and have that dog looking amazing.”

PetSmart’s grand opening will be this Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. They will have doorbuster sales for anyone who stops by.
