St. Louis River Corridor Alliance Hosted 20th Anniversary Gala
Protecting rivers and waterways, the St. Louis River Corridor Alliance hosted a 20th Anniversary gala for their clean water campaign. They’re raising funds to complete major cleanup for ten contaminated sites in the river estuary.
“The work that gets done is always benefiting the economy, our quality of life is directly related to the quality of the water that we rely on,” said executive director Kris Eilers.
Funds raised could also help spurn on matching dollars at the state and federal level.
The group is hoping the contaminated area will be cleaned up and off the list by 2025.
