Jury Finds Chicago Man Guilty of Selling Heroin

DULUTH, Minn. – A St. Louis County jury needed only an hour of deliberation on Tuesday before finding a Chicago man guilty of possessing heroin with intent to sell on the Fond du Lac Indian Reservation, according to St. Louis County Attorney Mark Rubin.
Antionio Darrell Holmes, 29, was convicted of first-degree possession of heroin and a first-degree sale of the drug.
Assistant St. Louis County Attorney Nathaniel Stumme said Holmes was found to be in possession of 90 grams of heroin, which has a street value of more than $10,000, as well as over $2,500 in cash when stopped by Fond du Lac police on February 20, 2015.
Sentencing is scheduled for May 2.
