Mayor Larson to host Community Listening Series

Duluth Mayor Emily Larson will kick off a community listening series next week in an effort to connect with residents and hear what’s on their mind. 

Larson and Fifth District City Councilor Jay Fosle will host the “City Hall in the City” event on February 24. 

The listening sessions will focus on giving residents the chance to share ideas, concerns and needs with the Mayor and a City Councilor. 

In the past, most Mayors Nights have been held at City Hall. 

 Larson will head out into the community and hold the event at the Gary New Duluth Community and Recreation Center on February 24 beginning at 5:30 p.m. 

Another meeting is scheduled for March 16 with Larson and City Council President Zack Filipovich.   That location will be announced at a later date. 

The public is invited to attend.
