Stranger Returns Wallet Contents with Hilarious Note about Missing Items
A New York man lost his wallet recently during a concert, thankfully a stranger returned it, but without all of it’s contents.
The man who returned some of the items sent a personal message to Reilly Flaherty, who had lost his wallet.
The letter began with “Dear Reilly Flaherty, I found your wallet and your driver’s license had your address so here’s your credit cards and other important stuff.”
The man wrote he kept the cash because he needed weed, and Flaherty’s Metrocard.
Flaherty had already canceled his credit cards on the way back from the concert once he realized he lost his wallet. The letter arrived in the mail about a week later.
The writer did not identify themselves, signing the letter anonymous.
