AMSOIL Founder Dies at Age 92

SUPERIOR, Wis. – AMSOIL is mourning the loss of their founder.

Al Amatuzio passed away Friday, March 31 at the age of 92.

He was a Denfeld graduate and an Air National Guard fighter pilot and was twice honored as the nation’s top pilot.

In 1972, AMSOIL synthetic motor oil became the world’s first synthetic motor oil to meet American Petroleum Institute service requirements.

Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced.
