Duo Nabbed in Duluth Drug Bust

Two people were arrested and charged following a drug bust in Duluth on Friday.

The Duluth Police Department along with the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force executed a search warrant at an apartment complex in the area of the 2000 block of West 4th Street on February 5. 

Prior to the search, investigators observed a drug deal take place outside of the apartment. 

Heroin and cash were located in the car where the deal took place. 

During the apartment search, authorities seized 5 grams of heroin, 11.5 grams of cocaine and a substantial amount of cash. 

35-year-old Aaron Reynolds, of Chicago, was arrested and charged with Aid and Abet 2nd Degree Controlled Substance Crime and 3rd Degree Sale of a Controlled Substance. 

Reynolds has a lengthy criminal history including convictions of simple robbery, domestic assaults, past drug conviction, giving a false name to police and several driving convictions. 

26-year-old Katrina Mabry, of Duluth, was arrested and charged with First Degree Controlled Substance Crime and Aid and Abet 2nd Degree Controlled Substance Crime.
