Winterfest 2016 Medallion Is Found!

Red Rock Radio’s Winterfest 2016 Medallion Hunt is over! The 3-inch clear acrylic disc was found Wednesday around 11:22 a.m. in Norton Park in Duluth by Bob Thornton, 38, of Esko.

For finding the Medallion, Bob wins $5,000 courtesy of Fond du Luth Casino!

The Winterfest 2016 Medallion Hunt started on Monday, January 18th. Clues were given out weekday mornings on 95 KQDS (94.9 FM), 94 X (94.1 FM) and 921 The FAN (92.1 FM) and were posted after 9 a.m. at twinportswinterfest.com

Bob found the Medallion just east east of Spirit Mountain and just south of the DWP Trail frozen to the ground on a side trail in a grove of cedar trees in Norton Park.
