Ely Veterans Memorial Vandlized

Police Investigating Incident

ELY, Minn.-A veterans memorial in Ely was been vandalized late Sunday night or early Monday morning.

Five crab apple trees planted at the head of the Trezona Trail, were broken and tipped over.

The trees were part of a vets memorial there.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
